We provide financial support and mentorship to students at St. George's College. Support is sent every September and January, and every scholar is mentored and followed term by term.
The Knights are a class of old boys, not a big charity. That is exactly why a partner matters here. One company's gift can carry a student through a full school year at St. George's, and every dollar of it reaches the student.
There are two ways in. Sponsor a student outright, or match what your people already give.
US$2,500
$2,500 covers one St. George's College scholar's support for a full school year. It goes out the way all of our support does: two payments of $1,250, one in September and one in January, sent straight to the student's family for his schooling.
Your scholar doesn't just get the money. He gets the Knights: a mentor on the ground in Kingston and a report back to the committee every month.
Our first scholar, Quincy Dale, came through St. George's on a promise like this one. Today he mentors the scholars who came after him. That's what a year of support starts.
Many employers match what their people give to charity, often dollar for dollar. If yours does, one gift to the Knights becomes two, at no extra cost to you.
If your company's platform doesn't list us yet, or asks for paperwork from the charity, email us and we'll take care of it.
Run a matching program yourself? Add the Knights to it, and your team's giving to St. George's goes twice as far.
Every scholarship the Knights award carries the names of two classmates we lost, Christopher Russell and Sean Appleby.
